2AIMUR(VAO2) (overall shaft heigh 280-500 mm), 2AIMUR(VAO2)ЧР (overall shaft heigh 200-355 mm) series electric motors are marked with PB Ex d I Mb or 1 Ex d IIB T4 Gb explosion proof mark and designed for operation in explosion hazard zones of premises and outdoor installations where flammable gases or vapours may form explosive mixtures with air, assigned to IIA, IIB categories and T1, T2, T3 and T4 self-ignition groups. The electric motors are also designed for operation in underground mines and their aboveground facilities that are classified as hazardous due to mine gas and (or) combustible dust in concentrations according to the current "Safety rules for underground coal mines", as well as in explosion hazard zones of premises and outdoor installations according to GOST R 52350.14-2006 (IEC 60079-14:2013).
- 2AIMUR(VAO2) series electric motors (shaft heights 280-355) are available with the power associated with the shaft height, which differs from the standardized by GOST 31606-2012, and are analogous to ВАО2 series electric motors.
- 2AIMUR(VAO2) series electric machines (shaft heights 355-500 [advanced series]) are available with the power associated with the shaft height in accordance with IEC recommendations and the nomenclature of the world's leading manufacturers of electric machines.
- 2AIMUR(VAO2) series electric motors (shaft heights 200-355) are available with the power associated with the shaft height, which either differs from the standardized by GOST 31606-2012 or complies with GOST 3160-2012.
